Grace and peace to all graduate students in the name of the Lord. Due to the recent typhoon that has greatly affected the Philippines, some students are experiencing difficulties in continuing their classes normally. The school deeply regrets this situation, and to ensure that your studies can still be completed without hindrance, we provide the following updates regarding changes to the academic schedule and related announcements.
Academic Schedule
– End of Semester: November 30, 2025
– Final Exam Period: December 7–13, 2025
– Research Paper Submission: Submit by 6:00 PM, December 31, 2025
– Online Lectures: Available on the school website even after the end of the semester
(However, lectures attendance after the end of the semester may be freely used for personal research but will not be reflected in the grade evaluation.)
Academic Announcements
– The period from the end of the semester until the start of final exams (December 7) will be a self-study period.
– On December 7 at 10:00 AM, each course instructor will post three final exam questions on the school announcement board.
– Students must write their answers on A4-sized paper (no required page count) and submit them to the official email address of IGSB during the exam period (December 7–13) [ IGSB official email address : igsb250703@gmail.com ]. Submissions after December 13 will receive a score of zero, so please take note.
– The Research Paper must be written in formal academic format (approx. 5 pages on A4), choosing one of the topics previously posted at the beginning of the semester on each course board. Proper footnotes citing books or academic papers must be included. Submit the paper to the official email of the International Theological Graduate School by 6:00 PM, December 31, 2025.
Late submissions will result in Fail for the course. Please keep this in mind.
– Due to the continued unstable internet conditions caused by typhoon damage in the Philippines, we regret that it has become difficult to follow the previously announced schedule.
However, for students who submitted their Summary Papers according to the previously announced guidelines, the results will be fairly reflected in their final exam evaluation.
Students who did not submit or only partially submitted their Summary Papers will not receive disadvantages such as failing the course, as long as they faithfully complete the final exam. We kindly ask all students to participate sincerely in the exam period.
Final Remarks
We deeply appreciate all graduate students who continued their studies despite the challenging circumstances. We pray that this semester will conclude beautifully by the grace of the Lord.
